Applications can be filed directly from the candidate or from a third
person.

The award can be attributed to a living scientist; it can be also
attributed to a deceased persons who died within 25 years from the date
of the award ceremony.

The application, signed, must contain the following:

1. name of the person suggested for the award, and contact information;
2. name of the discovery/ies for which the application is filed;
3. reference to publications describing the discovery/ies;
4. statement that the discovery/ies were never recognized by any other award;
5. reasons for which the discovery/ies were not recognized by any award.

The deadline for submitting the applications is   June 30th, 2025.

The applications will be evaluated by the Selection Committee who will select the winner.

The decision of the Selection Committee is unquestionable.

The award can be conferred to a maximum of 3 people for the same discovery.

In case of parity, preference will be given to discoveries in Hematology; in case of further parity preference will be attributed to discoveries in the field of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.
